has provided a performance-based music camp since 1999. It stretches the limits of every musician at every level!
Work on popular music while honing your individual technique and musical skill!
RIO is lead by a staff of professional musicians that are passionate about what they do, and will bring the best out of your young musician.
Each musician will experience large and small group rehearsals, focusing on all aspects of music technique: articulation, dynamics, artistry, ensemble playing, choreography, and more!
The camp culminates with a final rockin’ fully produced performance on the big stage!

RIO offers up to 4 levels of orchestras - to fit the needs of enrollment:
RIO EARLY ROCK
Musicians that have 1 - 2 years of instruction,
no ensemble experience is necessary. The focus is learning to play as a group and build on fundamental playing skills.
Violin, Viola, Cello or Bass
RIO PROGRESSIVE ROCK
Musicians that have have 3 - 4 years of
RIO offers up to 4 levels of orchestras - to fit the needs of enrollment:
RIO EARLY ROCK
Musicians that have 1 - 2 years of instruction,

RIO PROGRESSIVE ROCK
Musicians that have have 3 - 4 years of instruction and have ensemble experience.
Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass
Musicians should be able to read music and play throughout the range of their instruments in 1st position.
RIO CLASSIC ROCK
Musicians that have 4+ years of instruction and have ensemble experience.
Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass
Musicians should be able to read music and play throughout the range of their instruments and have a working knowledge of shifting on their instrument.
RIO HARD ROCK
(Audition Required)
High School Musicians that have 5+ years of instruction and are playing in the top level Orchestras in their schools.
Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass
Musicians must be comfortable reading and playing in all upper positions, and low strings must be able to read tenor/treble clef.
*Percussion & Guitar positions available by special request - contact us for details.
ALL MEMBERS WILL BE PLACED INTO AN APPROPRIATE GROUP AND SECTION. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED BY JUNE 7 .
